EdTech Guardian Hub is a Community Based Organization registered in Kenya with the vision to transform teaching and learning through future-ready classroom experiences. As industries undergo rapid transformation, we work alongside teachers, students, youths and learning institutions to equip them with the essential skillsets, mindsets, and toolsets necessary to match that trend by proactively connecting learning to the future workplace and digital economy. Every year, Kenya produces close to 1 million graduates. Yet, only ~25% secure formal employment. The rest face frustration, underemployment, or prolonged job searches. The gap isn’t opportunity. It’s the missing skills to seize it. Our students lack the EDGE skills & Mindsets. 76% of employers say graduates lack key digital fluency to deliver in employment (McKinsey & LinkedIn Learning, 2023), 49.1% of employers report poor communication skills, 41.7% lack critical thinking, innovations and problem solving skills, 25.7% struggle with teamwork, and 23.4% lack time management (FKE 2023) The EDGE (Empower, Digitize, Grow, Empower) is a 6-month, practical and immersive experience designed to equip students and recent graduates, teacher and youths with future-ready skills, career tools, and exposure to real-world challenges — preparing them to thrive in the today’s fast-moving digital workplace and economy. Our hope is that every young person, regardless of their background, acquires the confidence, skills, and tools to shape their own future.
